Just as there are many ways or methods to build a website there are just as many to immediately increase traffic to your website. Many times this increased web site traffic can cost you a bunch of money but usually companies or individuals just starting out need ways to get inexpensive or free web site traffic.

What I do on some of my websites is go to eBay and get some eBooks with private label rights (PLR) and offer them to subscribers to my websites. PLR material for the most part gives you the right to redistribute the material for free, if you wish, to anybody. This free bonus can usually get a website going right away. Be warned though many times the internet traffic your get from these are just someone looking for something free and not targeted website traffic. But it’s a start and it gets your site out there.

Take advantage of the directories that you can add your website to as this is one of the simplest and least expensive ways to increase traffic to your website. Many people use this as a beginning step and coupled with good content will build traffic, leads, and sales.

Article marketing also builds traffic especially when you start writing high quality articles and submitting them to popular article submission sites. If you can get some testimonials from people on your articles you can link back to your website and you will see more people head there. Of course, commenting on blogs especially ones that are supporters of the CommentLuv plug in will get your website in front of more eyes and increase your website traffic.
