There is also a such thing as local niche marketing where you build a site tailored towards information about local products or services. Let’s say you live in the Championship City of Pittsburgh and your niche is cars. With local niche marketing you can make a web site for the niche “Pittsburgh Cars for Sale” and market specifically for information on cars for sale in Pittsburgh. The amount of website traffic will be smaller but you are providing a local search for something. Did you know local searches are 1/3 of the total searches on the internet? Local niches can be very profitable and easy to research so this type of niche marketing may be what you want to do.
Increasing web site traffic through niche marketing is as easy as using good SEO practices and finding your target market. Targeted web site traffic in niche marketing is much more important than just regular website traffic in that people are coming to your site for what is specifically contained in it.
